Online LGBTQ+ event with FWNE

To mark New Family Social's LGBTQ+ Adoption and Fostering Week, the Foster with North East team are offering one-to-one 30 minute appointments for anyone thinking about fostering from the LGBTQ+ community.  

Too many LGBTQ+ people still count themselves out as potential adoption and fostering applicants but we need carers from all backgrounds and with all experiences to care for children and young people who are just as unique as them.  The online sessions are ideal for those who are at the very early stages of considering fostering as well as for those who are little further down the line in their thinking. Book your space and find out  more about the children in care in the North East, what the fostering application process involves and the associated timescales. The team will also discuss how you would be supported by your local authority as well as Foster with North East and answer any questions you may have.
